It has been a while since I have posted anything. I have two canoe trips I intend to post but will do that later.<\/p>\n
My manager at Iowa Health is leaving, I am not sure if it is a good or bad thing. It is obviously good for him; he has taken quite a beating from that place.<\/p>\n
In church my mechanic told me that the leak in the green car was a bit more serious than we initially thought. Or more to the point, its leaking but we don’t know where. I am contemplating sale or fix till this moment.<\/p>\n
Sadly after church this weekend I was informed that my mom’s brother “Vernie” had died. I just saw him a week prior at Wal-Mart with a friend of his and he stated that he had just won roughly (between him and his friend) about $2000 from the Meskawki Casino. I remember the word’s and actions that were done in this less than five minute passing that will be forever imprinted in my soul as the last time I talked to my uncle Vernie. This was probably the last time he spoke to a blood relative outside of his daughter.<\/p>\n
What troubles me about his passing is that I do not have the comfort of knowing if he knew Jesus as his personal saviour. It got me thinking, that not only am I thankful that I know I have a home in Heaven because of God’s word and work thru his son Jesus Christ, but also that I need to tell more people of his gift to mankind.<\/p>\n
Time is slipping away and my excuse and other peoples excuse for doing it “later” is a bad excuse to put off something so important. Simply because we’re on God’s clock and we don’t know how much “later” were going to have.<\/p>\n
