Well it has been a while (namely 12 months) since I have posted anything that I did not already write. For fun lets look at these predictions I put for 2013<\/a> and see what did and did not happen.<\/p>\n

Strike through red means wrong<\/del>.  Bold means nailed it<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. (Cheat) Denver Bronco’s win over the Seahawks in the Super Bowl <\/del><\/li>\n
  2. Geno Smith will go to the second round before being drafted<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. The Bengals will win the AFC North<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. The Colts will win the AFC South<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. The Chiefs will win the AFC West<\/del><\/li>\n
  6. The Patriots will win the AFC East<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. The Falcons will win the NFC South<\/del><\/li>\n
  8. The Redskins will win the NFC East<\/del><\/li>\n
  9. The Seahawks will win the NFC West<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. The Packers will win the NFC North<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. I will have to buy another car this year<\/del>  Happy about this one<\/em><\/li>\n
  12. I will have to buy another phone this year <\/del> This too!<\/em><\/li>\n
  13. Hilary Clinton will announce her aspirations for president (might be in 2014)  <\/del><\/li>\n
  14. Floods in Iowa<\/strong><\/li>\n
  15. Iowa will not get a Waffle House, but it might be announced we will get one.<\/del><\/li>\n
  16. Windows 8 will continue to tank.<\/del><\/li>\n
  17. Facebook will have a security problem\/leak<\/strong><\/li>\n
  18. Taxes will rise<\/strong><\/li>\n
  19. I will get a Kuerig for work<\/del><\/li>\n
  20. Obama will take fifteen vacations <\/strong>Made it by August<\/em><\/li>\n
  21. Boone will get a Theisen’s<\/del><\/li>\n
  22. Gas will hit $4.60 \/gal in Iowa<\/del><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Basically I was about 45% right.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    So without further ado, here are my predictions for 2014.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Whatever team takes Johnny Football, will regret it<\/li>\n
    2. The Hawkeyes will be bowl eligible but it will be an embarrassment bowl<\/li>\n
    3. I will break down and get a tablet of some sort<\/li>\n
    4. Miley Cyrus will fade away<\/li>\n
    5. The House stays with the GOP but<\/li>\n
    6. Boehner is booted out as Speaker<\/li>\n
    7. Senate is tighter but Dem’s and Prince Harry retain control<\/li>\n
    8. Iowa gets two Republican Senators<\/li>\n
    9. Amnesty happens<\/li>\n
    10. The Bengals make it to the AFC Championship game but lose to the…<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
