{"id":183,"date":"2012-11-20T21:16:42","date_gmt":"2012-11-21T03:16:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.travway.net\/?p=183"},"modified":"2012-11-20T21:16:42","modified_gmt":"2012-11-21T03:16:42","slug":"things-of-interest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travway.net\/index.php\/2012\/11\/20\/things-of-interest\/","title":{"rendered":"Things of Interest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am crazy for thinking that I was going to be able to do the blogging thing again. \u00a0I think its just one of those things that I have not quite eased back into the swing of things. \u00a0It will happen but until then here are a few items of interest.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thanks mostly to Archive.org I have been very meticulously trying to rebuild the old Count and Spell story pages. (if you don&#8217;t know what that is see below) \u00a0I still have the pictures of course, however they are not in digital format anymore (meaning they are on film and paper, remember those?). \u00a0Luckily with the text I am able to say &#8220;oh yea that picture goes with this page.&#8221; \u00a0It is taking a lot longer than I really anticipated but then again, I love Sam and Chloe dearly \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t know what Count and Spell are or don&#8217;t recall? \u00a0Basically they were two stuffed animals, one was an\u00a0orangutan beanie baby, the other was the Count from Sesame Street. \u00a0I took pictures of them with funny props, or in funny situations and tried to make a story line out of it. \u00a0It was something I really wanted to go further with but I was in a\u00a0transition\u00a0time in \u00a0my life.<\/li>\n<li>Along with the top two bullet points, I purchased a new item that I would like to have do its own travel blog or something similar to Count and Spell. \u00a0Want a hint, check twitter!<\/li>\n<li>I have been kicking around the idea of picking up where I left off on getting the MBA. It has been about ten years so I am guessing I will be starting from the beginning again. \u00a0Needless to say the time commitment would be worse now, and I don&#8217;t know that I really want to add $18-$36K in debt.<\/li>\n<li>A long time ago, many folks recall my anti-Microsoft and certification speak. \u00a0Well times have changed and I am working on obtaining my MCITP. \u00a0Along with that I have dragged my feet on the CCNA(P) and the CEH certs as well. \u00a0Goodness maybe I should look at doing A+ too (do they still do that?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I guess that is about it for now. \u00a0I have a ton of other posts to\u00a0re-categorize\u00a0and some older items that I would like to repost. \u00a0Fun times ahead!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am crazy for thinking that I was going to be able to do the blogging thing again. \u00a0I think its just one of those things that I have not quite eased back into the swing of things. \u00a0It will happen but until then here are a few items of interest.
