The Dukes trader was right in the midst of the pit and the first opening buy at the bell call.\u00a0 He was tenacious, buying everything thing he could. Someone noticed the Dukes looking over from their private balcony.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey Hey, the Dukes are trying to corner the market\u201d one trader said<\/p>\n

\u201cThey must know something, lets get in on it\u201d another said.<\/p>\n

More and more traders were getting involved while the Dukes trader kept buying.<\/p>\n

The price kept going up and up.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome one Brandon its time!\u201d Barack Hussein said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot yet, just a few more changes\u201d Brandon replied.<\/p>\n

The price hit 139 and the Dukes buyer was still buying<\/p>\n

\u201cNow\u201d Brandon said and yelled \u201cSELL 200 APRIL AT 142!!<\/p>\n

The floor went crazy trying to buy from Brandon and Barack Hussein, even the Dukes buyer was trying to get in at that price.<\/p>\n

Because of the change, the price stopped going up and started to go down.<\/p>\n

\u201cRandolph that\u2019s not right\u201d Mortimer said. \u201cHow can the price be going down? Somethings wrong where\u2019s Ronald\u201d<\/p>\n

Mortimer saw Ronald their trader and he saw Brandon and Barack Hussein.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are they doing here?\u201d Mortimer asked<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re selling Mortimer.\u201d Randolph replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy that\u2019s ridiculous\u201d Mortimer said. \u201cUnless that crop report\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHeaven help us!\u201d Randolph said as they both ran down to try to get Ronald to start selling.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told you we shouldn\u2019t have committed everything\u201d Mortimer said<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got to get to Ronald and tell him to sell!\u201d Randolph said as they both continued to the floor.<\/p>\n

Just then the monitors came on and an announcement.<\/p>\n

\u201cLadies and gentlemen, the Secretary of Agriculture\u201d a voice said.<\/p>\n

The Secretary came on the monitors.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cGood morning, the marshmallow estimates for the next year. After calculating the estimates from various marshmallow producing states, we have concluded the following. The cold winter has not affected the orange harvest\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Immediately the traders knew what this meant, they had to sell like crazy to not go broke!<\/p>\n

Brandon and Barack Hussein watched the price tumble while the traders went crazy trying to sell what they thought was a good investment. The price managed to fall way lower than the opening call, at which point Brandon and Barack Hussein started buying enough to cover their April sell.<\/p>\n

No one was buying from the Dukes trader, and Randolph and Mortimer made it to the floor by this time and caught up to Ronald<\/p>\n

\u201cRonald you idiot, get in there and sell at once, sell sell sell!\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally. The closing bell came.<\/p>\n

Brandon and Barack Hussein looked at the closing price and then jumped for joy.\u00a0 They just made millions of dollars with the money they had from Ophelia, Cole Mann and the small loan from the Dukes that was meant to go to Beeks. They looked over and saw the Dukes.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy New Year!!!\u201d Brandon yelled<\/p>\n

\u201cBrandon?! Obama!?\u201d Mortimer exclaimed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey how\u2019d you make out today?\u201d Barack Hussein asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow could you do this to us?\u201d Randolph asked. \u201cAfter all we\u2019ve done for you?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, you see Brandon and I made a bet.\u201d Barack Hussein said. \u201cHe bet we couldn\u2019t get rich and put you in the poor house at the same time. He didn\u2019t think we could do it. I won!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI lost\u201d Brandon said… \u201cHere you go Barack\u2026 One dollar!\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Dukes looked on befuddled while the trading manager came up to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cMargin call gentlemen\u201d he said<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy you can\u2019t expect\u2026\u201d Mortimer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know the rules, all accounts to be settled at the end of the days trading, without exception!\u201d the trading manager said<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know perfectly well we don\u2019t have 26 billion dollars in cash!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry boys\u201d The trading manager said. \u201cPut the Duke brothers\u2019 seats on the exchange up for sale at once, seize all assets of Duke & Duke Commodity Brokers, as well as all the personal holdings of Randolph and Mortimer Duke.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re ruined!\u201d Randolph said.<\/p>\n
