As the Duke\u2019s prepared to set up their wager, Brandon was busy back at the office working on his executive game plan.\u00a0 Suddenly the phone rang, it was his secretary.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrandon, I have Jill on line four\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPut her through please!\u201d Brandon said and grabbed the phone. \u201cHey sugarpuff! I\u2019m kinda tied up right now, what\u2019s up?\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cDarling, I want to know if we\u2019re having dinner tonight\u201d Jill said<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, remember, I am going to eat mashed potatoes off your finger!\u201d Brandon said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSounds sweet, so one more thing I want to ask you.\u201d Jill said. \u201cMumsie wants to have a party for us, right after New Year\u2019s on January 2nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Is that good for you?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYea that would be fine\u201d Brandon said. \u201cThat is nice of her to do that for us\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

He paused for a moment, which was not uncommon when he was deep in thought.<\/p>\n

\u201cDarling, are you there?\u201d Jill asked<\/p>\n

\u201cYea, I\u2019m trying to remember something\u201d Brandon said. \u201cSomething in my past, or possibly a movie or a cartoon\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you for real Brandon?\u201d Jill asked.\u00a0 \u201cI wanted to know about January 2nd<\/sup>, I have to give Mumsie an answer\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWait I remember!\u201d Brandon said cutting her off, which was also not uncommon. \u201cI can\u2019t do January 2nd<\/sup>, that\u2019s when the marshmallow reports come out!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh Brandon, what does the stupid old marshmallow reports have to do with Mumsie\u2019s party?\u201d Jill said despairingly.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoo, it is the busiest time of the year!\u201d Brandon said \u201cYou know that the reports come from all over the country and the Dukes make a lot of their revenue from marshmallow futures! We have to know what we can buy and promise our clients, it’s not like we can find 200,000 cases of marshmallows in four states if we are short on our order, we have to plan this out!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI suppose, I guess I\u2019ll just have to take Todd\u201d Jill said trying to provoke Brandon<\/p>\n

\u201cNow wait just a minute!\u201d Brandon replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m kidding pookums, see you at dinner!\u201d Jill said and hung up.<\/p>\n

Back at Brandon\u2019s residence, Jill was eating a chicken dinner that Cole Mann had prepared.\u00a0 As they were eating, Cole Mann took a call.\u00a0 It was from the Dukes.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes sir!\u201d Cole Mann said as he recognized the Dukes.\u00a0 But before he could reply they interrupted him.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook Cole Mann, this is very important that you don\u2019t let Brandon know what this conversation is about.\u00a0 We don\u2019t want him to know what is going on\u201d Randolph said<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, that shouldn\u2019t be too hard sir\u201d Cole Mann replied<\/p>\n

\u201cLook we know you might have to conceal your talking to us, let\u2019s stick to yes and no questions.\u201d Mortimer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to perform a science experiment, but in order for it to work, we will need your help\u201d Randolph said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to downgrade Brandon and put the gentleman that was arrested at the club\u201d Mortimer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes I know the one\u201d Cole Mann said.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, good, will you help us with this?\u201d Randolph asked<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll even give you a bonus for Christmas!\u201d Mortimer said. \u201cBut you cannot let Brandon know what’s going on.\u00a0 If you agree, just say something about donating to a charity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell sure sir, that would be fantastic.\u201d Cole Mann said, \u201cI would love to make a small donation to the Bernie Sanders mansion\/glove fund.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cExcellent!\u201d Randolph said. \u201cWe\u2019ll contact you later with more details!\u201d<\/p>\n

As Cole Mann hung up the phone he heard Jill and Brandon adjourning to the fire for story time.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s Go Brandon!\u201d Jill said, \u201cIt\u2019s time for us to find out what happens to the hungry caterpillar!\u201d<\/p>\n
