Dear Chloe,
Happy fifth birthday! My goodness so much happened while you were four I am not even sure where to start.
First let me just say that I am proud of you for memorizing the following versus. John 3:16, John 14:1-2, Ephesians 6:1-2, Philippians 4:13, I Samuel 2:2, Psalms 10:16, Isiah 40:31, and Luke 1:37. Furthermore I am very proud that you can recite the United States Presidents from Washington to Grant (sometime with a bit of help). We still need to work on capitals, but that will come later.
How about that trip we took with you to Kansas City to see the Bengals play the Chiefs. They won and you got to see the horse named Warpaint. Of course we also went to Waffle House because you love to get a waffle with chocolate chips and whipped cream.
School has been good for you. You ended “three school” with a big summer party, and started preschool with Mrs. T and Mrs. G. You have made some new friends at school and at church.
Chloe we hope your fifth year goes well for you and we hope that you will be able to read and write by the time of your sixth birthday.
In the meantime, happy birthday Chloe. We love you very much
