Boycott, Boycott, Boycott!! I have destroyed all of my Dixie Chicks cd’s and I urge you to do the same.
Their ashamed of President Bush, their ashamed of being from the same state. What the heck does it matter what state their from, it would not change them from their state of liberal ethics. How about the United States being ashamed that the Dixie Chicks are from the United States.
And think about this one too, their group name. The Dixie Chicks. For those who might not know, “Dixie” refers to the south, the “south” refers to the confederacy. The Dixie Chicks are not only anti-Bush/America, but evidently pro-slavery and pro-separation. Why else would they call themselves “The Dixie Chicks?” If they did not want to do that, why don’t they call themselves, “The best little whores from Texas” (I don’t really think that they are whores, i just thought it was funny to make the connection with the Burt Reynolds movie) or “The Girls who can’t keep their mouth shut” or “The Texas Trio” or something like that.
I’m getting off track here, the main thing that concerns me is that these three have made lots and lots of American money, and they have lots and lots of American fans, and most country singers out there are pretty conservative, and most come from the south. In this case they came from the state from which Bush was governor of, in which they probably voted for him, and then they disappoint the American people and the country music community and the name of Texas by saying that their ashamed.
Well girls, I am ashamed that I ever bought any of your cd’s, I am not ashamed that I downloaded one of them before I decided to buy it. I am ashamed of any person who has to attack something they don’t understand, simply because someone else told them too, or because everyone else is doing it. I think I will end with this, I was going to pay to take my wife to your concert, she nor I want to see Anti-American’s in action. Sure you can apologize, and that’s all fine and good. But it won’t matter now because when America needed you, you turned your back on America
