The United Nations is an Anti-America club for any country that is jealous of the how America has prospered.
Ok maybe that is a bit drastic, but it probably is not far from the truth. So what is the UN, why do we need it, does it hold water? The UN was actually charted in 1942 by then President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The UN can actually be traced back to 1899 when the first International Peace Conference was held. The UN’s then purpose was to gather countries to help fight the Evil Axis powers of World War II. Once that goal had been accomplished, the UN helped rebuild Germany, and then started to supply humane aid to countries that needed it. The UN grew and grew to where it is today, a liberal organization that wants to control America from prospering.
The UN today is an aged organization; it does not serve any function except to offer aid and protection to third world countries on the backs of the two largest members, the United State, and Great Britain. It really is sad how the UN today is; it does not have the same goals at hand that it once had. The UN at one time wanted a peaceful solution to all countries. The UN now, wants the same thing; however it wants to dictate what countries can and can not do. Now in some cases that is not a bad thing, but in other cases it is a bad thing. The UN tries to dictate the United States on what they can and can not do militarily. This is bad because the UN forgets where their headquarters is, they need the United State Military to live. In the case of Iraq or North Korea, it’s a good case they dictate it, however it holds no weight because they ignore it anyways.
This is why the UN should not help build Iraq. They were not there to help tear down the old house, heck they could not even find chemical weapons that were left out so carelessly by the Iraqi’s. I would wager that the Republican Guard had bets on how many weapons they could leave out in the open and get away with.
Anyway, I will close with this. The UN is old, and is losing its power. It is full of liberals who think they can control the countries who are right, and then tries to create a global government by consuming all these little countries up. That is the goal of the UN today, to become a Global Government.
