It’s high time everyone knew, Tress and I are expecting our first child! Both of us are overjoyed and looking forward to fulfilling the Godly purpose of marriage. As we just found out for sure yesterday, we anticipate that the due date is sometime late December to mid-January (here’s to hope for a new year’s baby!).
More details to come.
In other news:
I am glad that Tyler has chosen to have us (his family) in his life again, while there is still some issues to be ironed out I think it will be good in the long run… I hope.
Its less than one year until the Iowa Caucus, I am quite certain this could be the presidential race in which I abstain from voting. I have not been impressed with any of the candidates on either side. I was looking in to Barack Hussein Obama as I had heard him on a talk show and was intrigued by his ideas, but his recent support for items that are immoral turned me off. I am still looking into John Cox and others. I was right on the Vilsack thing though…
I am still baffled at the cut and run strategy from the Democrats. However I would be completely for it if it included us pulling all of our troops home from “hostile” regions and kept us out of world affairs. So that means, no more international support for disasters, and no more peace keeping missions. Let those third world countries solve their own problems by their own hands. That sounded pretty Liberal up until the word “hostile.”
We had some help from God to get our basement finished, as we had an average of 4 and a half inches of water (clean and sewer) in our basement this last week. Thankfully we were insured and have received a nice check which will help with the project and our soon to be born child.
Gas has gone up as it normally has, I am contemplating another car (at the time of this writing I think may have my Impala sold) that would get as good or better gas mileage but it needs to be reliable, cheap, and efficient. The perfect recipe for a State Auction trip on May 19th!
And for the last time, you cannot call yourself a Christian and vote for people who do not view homosexuality as immoral, and support partial birth abortions. Sorry folks this is not what scripture states. I am not suggesting we stone these types of people, I am saying we should not be voting for them, which I haven’t been.
